Carys Chaney is a flautist/harpist who's beautiful music will create the perfect atmosphere for your special day, whatever the occasion.
Carys is currently a 2nd year music student studying at the UEA and plays regularly in the UEA Symphony Orchestra. She has been playing the flute for over twelve years and has a varied repertoire that covers all genres. Four years ago she fell in love with the harp and has been privileged and very happy to be able to play a beautiful Aoyama Vega pedal harp.
Carys is also a member of a four part harmony singing group ‘Caelestis’. Caelestis are two pairs of sisters who have been singing together for several years, Rachael & Phillipa Levy and Carys & Freya Chaney. Specialising in close harmony religious/spiritual/pop/folk, ‘Caelestis’ have recently held a sell out concert in May and December 07, provided gentle singing for a local Artists preview evening and are in demand for weddings and civil ceremonies.
Carys is also available to give Flute lessons (beginners to advanced) and Piano lessons (beginners).
